626 Fest is a community soccer festival created to bring together players, families, local businesses, and supporters from across the San Gabriel Valley for a day of competition, culture, and connection.

Taking place on June 26th (6/26), the event features a high-energy small-sided soccer tournament, food vendors, music, raffles, community organizations, local businesses, and activities for all ages. Whether you're competing on the field, cheering from the sidelines, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, 626 Fest offers something for everyone.

More than just a soccer tournament, 626 Fest is a celebration of the people and communities that make the 626 special. It's an opportunity to connect with others, support local organizations, showcase local talent, and create memorable experiences through the game we love.

Hosted by 626 Futbl, the event also serves a greater purpose. Proceeds help support our mission of providing free soccer programming, mentorship opportunities, equipment, and community events for youth throughout our community.

626 FEST

Tournament Format

626 Fest features a fast-paced 5v5 tournament designed to maximize playing time, competition, and fun throughout the day.

Registration Options

Players can register in one of two ways:

  • Team Registration – Sign up with your own team and compete together.

  • Free Agent Registration – Sign up individually and we'll place you on a team with other players.

What's Included

Every registered player will receive a customizable 626 Fest jersey that can be personalized with their name and number, making the experience even more memorable.

Age Groups

The tournament will feature four divisions:

  • U8–U10

  • U11–U14

  • U15–U17

  • 18+ Adult Division

Each division will be limited to 6 teams, so early registration is encouraged.

Placement Round

The day begins with our unique festival-style format:

  • 5-minute games

  • Winner stays on the field

  • Losing team rotates off

  • Teams accumulate wins throughout the round

  • Any team that reaches 4 wins automatically qualifies for the playoffs

  • The top 4 teams in each division advance to the playoff round

This format keeps games moving, creates exciting matchups, and ensures every game has something on the line.

Playoffs

Once the placement round is complete, the top four teams advance to the knockout stage.

  • #1 Seed vs. #4 Seed

  • #2 Seed vs. #3 Seed

  • Winners advance to the Championship Final

Match Length

  • Semi-Finals: 15-minute games

  • Championship Final: 15-minute game

Awards

Champions in each division will receive tournament prizes and earn the title of 626 Fest Champions.
